Goodbye Content Kewords
Monday 28 November 2016
Earlier – when the Search Console was still called Webmaster Tools – the content keywords function was the only way to see what Googlebot found when crawling a site. It was useful to check whether Google was able to crawl your pages at all, or whether your site was hacked. In the meantime, you can easily check each page of your website and see immediately how Googlebot retrieves them. In the search analysis, you’ll find out what keywords we’ve viewed your site in the search, and learn about many different types of hacks. However, the keywords listed in the content keywords often caused confusion among users. So we found it time to remove the content keywords function from the Search Console. The words on your pages – the keywords, so to speak – are still important for your pages to be understood by Google and by your users. Even if our systems have become better, they can not read your thoughts. This makes it clear what your website is all about, and what topics it should be found on. Makes your visitors realize what is so special about your website, your products and your services. Which keyword you were shown was particularly surprising or especially interesting for you? Let us know in the comments! Post by John Mueller, Webmaster Trends Analyst, Google Switzerland

Kto z Was wiedział o istnieniu takiego raportu? A kto z niego korzystał?

Aktualizacja:
